Asian brassicas

The term Asian greens encompasses various vegetables, most of which hail from the Far East. Most species belong to the brassica family. The flavors thus range from very sharp to cabbage-mild. Mainly the leaves are used, but depending on the variety, stems and flowers also find their uses. Asian greens are used raw in salads or for seasoning or cooked or roasted.
